Everything else....

Let's see...Basketball is over. I didn't take any pictures because I decided I would just buy some from Russ Wilson. He takes great pictures of the boys and his turn out way better than mine. Which reminds me I need to get them ordered! We missed a lot of our games due to snow. I guess Jr High games do not mean as much as HS games because I think we only made up one that was snowed out. Basketball season is always so long. The last couple of weeks of it Logan was looking forward to getting back into football. So he is back in off season football and track is getting started. Other than sports and school Logan spends most of his time these days w/Lexie. Which is ok. She is a good sweet girl. He is getting ready to take his permit test. We are going on spring break. I will have 2 driving. Heaven help me. He also has a birthday coming up in less than 2 weeks. 15!! Crazy how fast time flies.

Madison has been busy w/church and school. She has a lot of hard classes this year so she spends a lot of time studying. I'm really proud of her for being so focused on school. I wish I had been more like her back when I was in HS. I didn't think as far ahead and she does. I'm also very proud of all the ways she has grown w/God. He is going to do amazing things through her. She is very loving and giving. I was told the other day that she gets that from me, but truth is I got it from my mom and I'm glad Madison has the compassion for others as we do. Of course we can't take all the credit because I'm a firm believer that God has a hand in it all as well. She will be 16 in a few months and we are planning a girl's shopping trip to Dallas. It is just going to be Madi, Taylor (one of her best friends) and hopefully mom is coming w/us. Just the 4 of us having a little fun. She is very excited.

Randy is still into running. He has a few half marathons planned for this year and I think a full one as well. He is wanting to work his way up to the 50/100 mile ones. I think that is crazy but we all know once he gets focused on something that's it! The nice part of it is we go to the gym and military park together and he has been an awesome encouragement to me!

As for me, I am dieting once again! Ugh, sucks but between the gym and eating much better I have lost 17 lbs since Jan 6th. My hope is to be down 32 more lbs by July. I really want to get the weight off. 1. I do not want to have to take blood pressure medicine, 2. I do not want to become diabetic and there is way to much of it in my family to not be concerned 3. I REALLY want to feel better about myself. When I see myself in pictures I'm ashamed that I look the way I do. I just want to be me...this is not me 4. I am going to be 38 years old this year...seriously. The only thing that is going to keep me from completely losing it come 40 is if I feel better about me. So I'm off to a slow but good start! I have faith that I can do this!!!

Snow days...

The weather guy said we were going to get 1-3 inches of snow...boy was he wrong. I can not remember a time Randy has come home from work because of snow. It was flat coming down. He came home and then Logan wanted to go over to Lexies. He left his cell on the kitchen counter (of course) and after he dropped Logan off the 4wd click out and he couldn't get it back in. So he had to walk in 8 degree weather back to standing oaks and Fred had to help pull him out of the snow. After he got part of the way down the street the thing clicked back in. Go figure. We spent way to much time snowed in. I think it should only snow once a year about 2 ft and then be in the 60's the next day and I would be fine til the next year. I love summer, warmth, sunshine...and water!!!

Logan ran out w/him the 1st time because he was a little scared of the snow. (I think everyone knows that Harley is scared of EVERYTHING). Logan only stayed out for a minute (he was in a tshirt and house shoes). After that it was good times for Harley!!

Setch would not even get off the porch until Randy shoveled him a spot. Harley on the other hand LOVED it. He was running full speed all over the yard. He would run across the street and say hello to the neighbors and then he would run back. He was so funny!!

Superbowl Fun...

The fun continues...everyone can make fun of us if they like, but truth is the Wii tournaments and game night is a good way to suck the kids into spending time w/us. :) This year to make it more fair we used a handicap system and dang it if Logan didn't win the entire tournament anyway! He got the trophy! We all did a pool for $2 a square and I won $10! Ethan won $5 playing cards so most everyone was happy. Kevin and Austin came out, Ethan and Autumn came over, along w/Kathy and her crew. It was a fun time. I wish I would have taken more pictures...

I had to post this one because I just knew Hannah was going to throw her arm out...you talk about a big wind up while bowling...

This is our friends...Samantha, Austin, & Duncan...

My brother...Kevin. :)

Autumn & Hannah...peace out..

Logan and Lexie...

Madi & Charlie

Harley is getting so big...but Setch is still the boss!

After having Harley for months Setch has decided he will play w/him some but only on his terms. Harley seems to be ok w/it. They can get pretty rowdy!

March....wow!!

I try and read blog updates from everyone every week or two and I get bummed when they are not all updated...tonight I was reading up and realized I hadn't even updated my own since Christmas...yeah...I'll do better. I don't think I've taken many pictures since then, but I will see what I can find.

Family time...
