Cross Country Meet at WJHS (B-ville)

This was the first Cross Country meet that I have made it to. My goodness a lot of kids run cross country!!

The boys were warming up...

This was still early on in the run...

He only has 440 yards to go here!! Run Logan Run!!

Randy and Logan after the race

Logan w/his good buddies, Lloyd & Justin
They all 3 placed :) Logan 14th (I can't remember his exact time it was 12:42 I think..), Justin 19th, and Lloyd 28th

Kacey's 30th birthday

I think most all of you know that Angie and I have been friends since grade school. Her sister Kacey is very special in more ways than one. :) Her 30th b-day was this month and she wanted a girl's trip. She absolutely LOVES George Strait. Well of course he is not coming any where close so we took her to the next best thing. Legends in Branson has a good George Strait. She LOVED him. She was screaming and waving her arms and saying, "I LOVE YOU GEORGE STRAIT!!" He heard her, pointed, and then waved. I thought she was going to faint.

On Sunday we did a little shopping and this picture of Angie cracks me up!! She was stylin now!!

Pea Ridge vs. Gravette

We played at Gravette last week. It was not to good of a game. The boys fumbled several times and just couldn't get a break. They played hard but we lost 33-0. Then Gravette came over for the HS game on Friday night and our HS boys lost 33-0. Weird....

Here the boys are running out, ready to play.

They were both trying to catch this one...

Run bubby run!!!

Pea Ridge vs. Greenland

It was nice to finally have a home game!! We ended up tying this one 6-6. Logan made a touchdown (that ended up getting taken away but he still made one;) He played a really good game. I'm sure Randy has all his stats and I will post them at the end of the season.

Team captains for the night.

A couple of pics of Logan running the ball.

Harley

Harley is growing like crazy. Here he is at 16lbs. :)

Austin's ball game

Randy and I went to watch Austin play. I think it was his first game of the season. It was on Sept 11th. They won! Woot woot!! He is #24 this year too. I got a couple of cute pics of him.

If he wasn't on the field during a touchdown he was showing Saint pride. :)

Pea Ridge vs. Green Forest

We played Green Forest last night and we lost 14-0. :( I know that we are all a little prejudice when it comes to our kids. However, I do believe Logan is one of the best players on our team. All through youth football he made all the touchdowns for the team except for 3! (Every year all the way til 7th grade.) Guess how many times he got the ball on offense last night?! Ready....none! Seriously?! I know that I am not a coach and after all these years I still ask Randy questions through out the game, but if you have boys on the team that are really good at certain things why would we not use that to our advantage? Just doesn't make any sense. Anywho, off my soap box! The boys played hard last night. Wasn't that easy trying to play slip sliding all over the field but they hung in there. You know how much I love pictures so of course I took a few..

Logan & Jarran are on the bottom of this pile...Logan had the kid by the feet.

What you want us to do coach?!

Football, Basketball & Cross Country Schedules

I thought some of you might want our fall schedules. :) Madison's schedule is opposite of Logan's for football. Last year it worked out because she was a manager for the Jr. High team but this year she has moved up to High School Football manager. She is a darn good one too. I did not realize how much they actually do. *Funny thing..one day after school she came in w/a small drill in her pocket. I was like what in the world?! She said oops, I was fixing helmets. Don't worry she left it in my office and took it back down the next morning. :)

Run for a Child

The 2010 Run for a Child was today. It is a benefit for the NWA Children's Shelter. Randy ran the 10k. He beat his time from the Cancer Challenge by over 4 minutes. :) He ran it in 49:57. He actually would have had an even better time but he stopped running at what he thought was the finish line because they had the chip trackers and when he ran over the first blue strip he thought it was the finish line. Nope he had a few more steps to go. Either way he beat his time, which is what he was hoping for..now I need to get released so I can start running. I told him I would try to start running them w/him. Heaven help me...

He is waiting at the start...

and he's off...

and he made it!!! Good Job, Babe!

Pea Ridge vs. Elkins

Logan played hard tonight. So hard he ate 4 grilled cheeses when we got home. Man, the boy can eat!! I just took him pizza and cookies to eat on the bus on the way to the game. :) It's weird when we play Elkins. Every year as far back as I can remember we have traded wins w/them. We won last year so I guess it was their turn. I could not believe what bad sports they were though...hitting our boys from the back and horrible smack talking. I'm glad our boys are better than that. We lost 20-0 :( It's ok tho because we will get them next year!! Logan's 6th grade year we beat them 44-6 so I know we can take um....

I didn't get to many pictures because for some reason the later it got the more blurry they were...weird..

Logan practicing punting...

Logan & Will going for the coin toss

I just love this picture. Logan and Will have been friends for years. They spend a lot of time together and are really good buddies. It was nice that they did this together for the 1st game of the season.

Logan caught this one...

He caught this one too, but I snapped the picture to early.
