Nothing much going on these days....

Not to much going on w/us these days. Logan got a job at Lowes in the Lawn and Garden and seems to like it. He works 8 or more hours a day all weekend and is saving up money to get a new car. They hired him for seasonal help but he is hoping they will go ahead and keep him on after the season. Other than working he has just been going to school and hanging out w/his friends. Madison has been updating her profile on care.com hoping to find another full time summer nanny job this year. It worked out perfect for her last year so hopefully it will work out that way for her again this year. Randy and I have been doing some small things to the house to get it ready to put on the market. Now that the kids are grown we are planning on moving over the line into Missouri. After we get everything done that we plan on doing I will post some pics. So if you know of anyone looking for a house in the Pea Ridge area w/a nice yard for a good price you can share our info. Our house is nothing fancy and it was built in 1985 so it's older but it is a nice home and I would plan on staying if my sweet husband wasn't craving a place w/a few acres.

Mom, Madi, Taylor and I went to the Vintage Market Days at the Benton County Fair Grounds. Lord have mercy it was crowded! You could not get through w/out getting up close and personal w/everyone in there. It was a lot smaller than I thought it would be too. It cost $5 to get in and we were in and out in less than 2 hours and that was fighting the crowd. I'm hoping for a better experience at Junk Days in June. This is a picture of us in the silly booth. I did buy an old window for $10 and a cute bracelet w/4 charms for $10!

I re-painted my laundry room (It's a pretty pastal green. It's called glimmer and it makes the room bright and cheerful.) I never look out the back window because it's blocked by the washer/dryer but I lifted the blinds to get some light in there and this little nest was on the window sill. Now I keep checking it for birds. :)

That's all I've got for now... :)

Take Care sweet friends & God Bless!!

Classy Hat Fundraiser, Logan's tattoo, & Spring Break all wrapped in one....

This was only the 2nd spring break in the 6 years I've been at the school that we have had the entire spring break off. We are usually making up snow days some of it so it was really nice to have it off. Overall it was a pretty laid back time and the kids were home and I got to spend some time w/them so that was nice. I didn't really take any pictures but one night when the storm was coming in the kids took off on the bikes. Silly kids...

Randy's mom is a member of the Classy Hat Club in Cassville, MO. Every year they do a fundraiser and give all the money to someone in need. It's really fun w/lots of laughs. This was the last year they are having it and I will be sad to see it end. It has helped so many people. All the pictures are on mom's phone but I did have a couple from our table. :)

Kacey goes w/us every year and oh how she loves it. She won a gift basket in the drawing and you would have thought she won the lottery. I love her excitement over the little things.

Madi & Samm (adorable as always)

Mom and my sister Carrie (I love this picture..they both are so beautiful)

This is Madi and Helen (Randy's mom)

While we were at the fundraiser Logan was getting his first tattoo. I have 3 myself so I love tattoos. I thought it turned out really well. This was when he had just got done which is why it's red. Of course it looks much better now.

As for the rest of spring break..Madi and I went w/friends (Jennifer & Taylor) to Ikea in Kansas City on Monday. We did a little shopping around town through the week and got some stuff ready for our garage sale. Which is coming up on April 18th. We did run to the casino for a night and I lost money, Madi won, Charlie broke even, and Randy won $725! Woot! So overall it was a good night. We also spent some time working on the house. We are doing some little upgrades and stuff so we can put it on the market soon. I will post pics of the house when we get ready to sell. We are going to try and sell it ourselves first so we do not have to up the price to pay commission to a realtor.

Thats about all I got for now....

Peace & Love ;)
