Christmas w/Dad

I guess you can call it Christmas w/dad. We did get to see him but Donna invited half of the world over so it was more like a party. We didn't get to visit much because Kim kept talking over dad and then the ones in the dining room were so loud we couldn't hear each other. I guess I should be happy we got to spend a little time w/them but if it would have just been a family thing it would have been a lot better.

Randy was chillin and watching the game....

Out for Weather....

I have not taken many pics lately but after this coming week I should have plenty to add.;0) Plus, Randy gave me my Christmas present early and I have a new camera!! Yay!! I'm so excited to use it at Logan's next ball game and see how much better the pictures can be....

anywho, I only have this one pic from earlier this week the kids were out of school because of ice. Madison had Cassie & Ty over and they took a few pics...most of them they are being goofy or you can't see them very well, but notice they have painted their eyes...even Ty's....*hehe

Wow, I haven't updated in a while...busy running and not so much picture taking going on these days. as for this weekend....Friday night Logan and Sam (his new girl, isn't she just a pretty little thing?) wanted to go ice skating so I took them down to the square. Guess what...yep, no ice rink this year. So they got stuck hanging out w/me until it was time to pick up Madi and Taylor from the mall. Here is one of the pics I took on the square.

Logan was suppose to have a jamboree at Elkins on Saturday but it ended up just being a regular game. A close one too!! Logan sunk the winning basket as the buzzer was going off. We won 29 to 28. Logan scored 13 pts this game. ;0) I took a few pics...

Randy thought this one was cool because Logan is the only thing that is clear in the picture. (I had turned the flash off trying to get a better pic. With the flash on they were all dark...see the other 2 below.)

After the ball game we went to Joplin to do some Christmas shopping and to have dinner w/Bob and Leah. We had not seen them for 11 years!! We used to hang w/them all the time, and then we all got busy w/the kids. The last time we spent time w/them Logan was a year old and we went to their cabin on the lake for the weekend and I ended up having to call my mom to meet me and take Logan. He cried the whole time. He hated the water...I'm not sure why since he's always loved the river... We have all promised we are going to do better at staying in touch. More than just Christmas cards once a year. I'm looking forward to it.

Today Randy worked and I had to go to church alone. *sniff. After all the running this week every freakin night I was exhausted and crashed on the couch for a few hours today. Randy on the other hand...I do not even know where he gets his energy. He has been working 12 hour days, he worked yesterday (going in at 2:45 so he wouldn't miss the ball game) ...we got home last night and he was back up and gone this morning. Worked 7 hours and while I was asleep this afternoon he cleaned the entire garage. I guess in his old age he is still young...;0)

We went to Sam & Helen's this year for Thanksgiving dinner. After dinner we played dominos and Randy beat me by 3 stupid points!! I forgot to take my camera but after dominos we went to mom & dad's house and mom of course had a camera. I stole some of her pictures off of her myspace to post them here... ;0)

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!!

I only have 1 pic for this week....

Last weekend there was a dance at school on Friday night. Of course Madison and Charlie did not get their picture taken because it was something I would want...but Logan and Kelly did. They look so cute.

Lets see ....other things that went on this week:
Madison quit basketball. Yep, it make me sad that all the drama and a bad coach could make her not want to play when she has always loved basetball. This all started last year so when she wanted to quit a few weeks ago I asked her to stick it out for a few weeks just to make sure it was really what she wanted to do. She was miserable. Now she's at the point she doesn't even care about basketball anymore which is even more sad. ;( So no games for Madi this year. Logan's games start in December but since he is 7th grade they don't have very many games. I will post his schedule when I get it.

Friday night the kids had half the world over as usual and I went to dinner and a movie w/some friends. (Mom, Angie, Kasey, Shannon, & Todd). We watched Role Models which was really funny but I could have done w/out so many dirty words.

Saturday Logan played w/some friends. Had a few over. Madison went to the mall and a movie w/her crowd and Randy and I got started on our Christmas shopping. Actually we ended up only buying for Logan but hey we are started right?! It was nice to just hang out w/Randy for a while.

Today instead of Sunday school we all went out and did something for the community. Just little tokens of God's love spread everywhere (that was our purpose anyway). We handed out money at the laundry mat, washed cars and handed out money at the car wash, raked leaves for the elderly ..other age groups picked up trash, gave away food and helped out at Autumn place. Madi said mom, it's kinda cool that our whole church is spread out all over town today. ;) We also cleaned up around the laundry mat and picked up trash along the street in front of the businesses. Guess who stepped in a big ole pile of dog poo. Yep, that would be me. It was so gross. It was such a large pile that it even came up inside my pant leg. How gross is that?!? Anyway, I had a change of shoes in the truck and one of the guys at the car wash was kind enough to hose down my pants so I guess I was lucky for that. After we were all done we all went out for lunch. ;0)

So heres to all of us having a good week!!

It's the end of our Football season...

It's been one of those weeks. Madi has been sick most of it. Some virus that is going around. Logan got hurt at football practice on Tuesday morning and almost didn't get to play in the game this week. They also got their report cards this week which set us back $52.50.

We played Berryville this week and we lost but Logan scored another touchdown. ;0)

Randy has kept up w/his stats all year so I thought I would add them to my blog. He is a good player. Plus I have to mention that he only plays offense for 1/2 of each game.
Huntsville
6 receptions -68 yards
1 carry - 70 yards
1 touchdown

Prairie Grove
1 reception - 12 yards
1 carry - 33 yards

Farmington
2 receptions - 82 yards 1 touchdown
2 carries = 85 yards 1 touchdown

Berryville
2 receptions - 62 yards 1 touchdown

West Fork
2 carries - 8 yards

Greenland
4 receptions - 59 yards 1 touchdown

Gravette
3 receptions 87 yards 1 touchdown

Shiloh
2 receptions - 17 yards

Gentry
1 carry - 33 yards
1 reception - 30 yards 1 touchdown
1/ 2pt conversion

Total: 646 yards 7 touchdowns 1/ 2 pt conversion

Kevin, Austin and Hannah came to the game and Hannah took a couple of pictures...

Hannah (she got a kick out of taking pictures of herself...(hehe)

Kevin & Austin (handsome huh?)

The kids had a dance last night. It was 80's themed..(you can kind of see Madi's shirt..the boys didn't want to dress up.)

Ball game..Halloween & Eureka Springs....

We played Farmington this past Thursday night and we played their 8th grade boys. We didn't win but our boys did play one of their best games. Logan scored 2 touchdowns. This first picture was where he caught a pass and we got a first down but it wasn't the touchdown pass. It came later and he ran 72 yards for the touchdown. ;0)

This is the play where they ran the reverse and he ran 47 yards for the touchdown on this one....Goooo Blackhawks!!

Baleigh & Madison were sexy pirates for Halloween. (This is NOT the costume I would have picked out or let her get but I was not w/her and I did not buy it.)

Jaelin, Jericho, Matt & Baleigh (Jericho made an excellent nerd...he was hilarious!)

The boys were hanging out ...they had been playing football in the street but to many trick or treaters were out and there were to many cars so they decided to chill for a bit.
Charlie, Jarren, Logan, & Logan

On a whim we decided to run to Eureka Saturday afternoon. We did not realize it was going to be diversity weekend. I saw things I have only seen on T.V. I think the girls were in shock...we had a great time though, it was such a beautiful day. We got a few pictures of the girls. These are my favorite ones...
Jaelin, Madi & Bay

This is my fav...Jaelin is looking at Madi like she is nuts. It makes me giggle.
